We recognize that finding the right customers in a large corporation is one of the most difficult obstacles facing small business people. To assist potential suppliers, Cummins Diversity Procurement Department has established a process that involves two (2) fundamental steps:
Information sent should include brochures or line cards, sales history, and any other pertinent data.
The Diversity Procurement Department will review the information and refer Qualified suppliers to one or more potential customers within Cummins.
They may also send copies of their information to buyers or commodity managers if they have already established contact with them, and if they have determined the commodity managers’ business group may be interested in purchasing their product or service.
